Architectural Trainee

ADMARES is industrializing the manufacturing of homes. Together with our partners Porsche Consulting, MHP – A Porsche Company, Siemens, and Edag Group, we are developing an industrialized home-manufacturing technology where buildings are designed, engineered, and produced with the same discipline as industrial products. Architectural design is a critical part of that equation.

We are looking for an Architectural Trainee to join our team in Turku.

As an Architectural trainee/intern in our Turku office you will join our growing team in a part-time position for assisting in planning tasks.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as part of an expert planning team and participate in various stages of architectural design and project development. 

This position is ideal for an architecture student or an architectural designer student (university or university of applied sciences) in the final stages of their studies who is already proficient in using design software.

Responsibility areas

  1. As an intern, you will assist our design team in their daily work and participate in the advancement of projects at various stages. 
  2. Your tasks include assisting with architectural design, producing technical drawings and plans with Archicad, as well as creating presentation materials and visualizations. 
  3. The work tasks and job description are very varied and diverse.
  4. In addition, you will participate in other tasks supporting the design team according to project needs. The work requires presence at our office in Turku during office hours

What we expect from the candidate

  • We expect you to have good proficiency in the Archicad program and a smooth working approach with it. 
  • Skills in visualization software are considered an advantage. 
  • Succeeding in this position requires a practical and proactive work approach, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, as well as carefulness and a desire to develop professionally. 
  • Working in an international work environment requires excellent English proficiency in addition to Finnish language skills.
  • You can be an architecture student in the final stages of your studies or about to graduate

Employment

The work will start as soon as possible according to the agreement. The employment is primarily as part-time, but temporary summer internship is also possible depending on the applicant’s preferences and working opportunities.
