Document Controller

ADMARES is industrializing the manufacturing of homes. Together with our partners Porsche ConsultingMHP – A Porsche CompanySiemens, and Edag Group, we are developing an industrialized home-manufacturing technology where buildings are designed, engineered, and produced with the same discipline as industrial products. Document controll is a critical part of that equation.

We are looking for a Document Controller to join our team in Turku.

In this role, you will support how information and documents are managed across the company, with a focus on our product development and Smart Factory development projects, including our model home delivery to Australia. You will help build and maintain clear and structured documentation that supports these projects.

This position gives you a front-row seat to how traditional construction processes are being redesigned into a more efficient, factory-based approach.

Responsibility areas

  • Organizing and maintaining our document control in our Archive systems
  • Handling our document exchange and transmittals within our projects, in co-operation with the multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Maintain the master document list (MDL)
    • Numbering the documents
  • Follow and report the status of documents 
    • Delayed documents
    • Estimate of progress
    • Status of documents
    • Overdue comments / approval from the client or authority
  • Inform responsible persons on status
  • Prepare and maintain document cards based on MDL
  • Send and handle Technical Queries
  • Store and maintain received information in the system (Access database)
  • Prepare and maintain project specific formal templates 

What we expect from the candidate

  • B.Sc. in Engineering or at the last stage of engineering studies
  • Systematic and organized way of working
  • Fluent with typical office software. Any experience in document control software is a benefit. 
  • Ability to work together with external professionals 
  • Open minded, active, able to take initiative, while working in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Skills in basic MS office tools and Sharepoint
  • Fluent spoken and written English

Employment

The work will start as soon as possible according to the agreement. The employment can be either full time or part-time, and a temporary summer internship is also possible depending on the applicant’s preferences and working opportunities.
