Sourcing Specialist / Manager

ADMARES is industrializing the manufacturing of homes. Together with our partners Porsche Consulting, MHP – A Porsche Company, Siemens, and Edag Group, we are developing an industrialized home-manufacturing technology where buildings are designed, engineered, and produced with the same discipline as industrial products. Sourcing is a critical part of that equation.

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist / Manager to join our team in Turku.

As a Sourcing Specialist / Manager, you will be a part of our Global sourcing function and responsible for new and existing supplier relationships. Depending on the background of the applicant, you will be sourcing and purchasing production materials and components and/or services related to ADMARES Smart Factory project. By analyzing technical specifications and with the support of internal and external stakeholders, you will continuously identify new solutions and suppliers, as well as develop existing supplier relationships. You will be leading RFI and RFQ processes extending to supplier negotiations in terms of price, terms, and delivery time to meet company’s objectives on a given scope, and manage the project-based purchase orders. 

Responsibility areas

  • Analyzing of technical specification to be able to continuously identify new solutions and suppliers with the support of internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible of development of new and current supplier relationships in selected categories
  • Leading supplier negotiations in terms of price, terms and delivery to meet company objectives
  • Continuous communication with other internal and external stakeholders to validate and evaluate new materials, products and solutions
  • Conducting supplier evaluations and audits as part of the supplier selection process

What we expect from the candidate

  • B.Sc  or M.Sc. or in Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain management or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing industry and construction related product categories and systems 
  • Ability to understand and analyze technical documents and product / production equipment specifications
  • Ability to work in cross functional organization including daily co-operation with other company functions
  • Proven communication and excellent networking skills
  • Can do attitude and passion for building new and creating better results
  • Open-minded, active, able to take initiative while working in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Skills in basic MS office tools as well as experience with common ERP systems. Procurement systems experience is a benefit.
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Organization language is English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally
