Siemens and ADMARES agree on a global partnership to complete Smart Factories and Smart Homes
ADMARES, the leader in the digital transformation of the construction industry, agreed to use Siemens technology in the design and life cycle management of digitally connected smart homes.
The agreement includes the deployment of Siemens software in designing ADMARES Smart Factories which manufacture the houses. Siemens NX and Teamcenter will be used for design, analyses, documentation and management of ADMARES products.
– “Siemens NX enables us to integrate all design disciplines into a single modeling environment, resulting in efficient design processes and seamless handover from design to production”, says Mikael Hedberg, Founder & CEO of ADMARES.
The Siemens Digital Enterprise portfolio will integrate the entire value chain from design to realization, including the design and physical build of the Smart Factory. By implementing Siemens Automation solutions and comprehensive Digital Twin, the factory will operate in an optimal setup from day one, capturing data in the physical world for continuous and open loop of optimization in both production and development.
– “This partnership with ADMARES will demonstrate how bringing the real and virtual worlds together can unleash the true potential of a Digital Enterprise. By using the power of data, ADMARES will gain valuable insights to ensure efficient production while maintaining high quality standards”, said Mohammed Khalifa, the CEO of Siemens Digital Industries in the Middle East.
Construction industry faces an ecosystem reset
Siemens and ADMARES are now working on a digitally connected pilot home, which will be presented in the first half of the year 2023. Smart Homes, equipped with Smart Hardware, Edge Devices and Cloud Software solutions, allow for seamless digital connection as well as monitoring homes and their operation.
– “This is the final pilot before the construction of the first Smart Factory begins. We are verifying both the product and the production technology as well as the digital characteristics of the Smart Homes”, says Hedberg.
ADMARES Smart Factories will be focusing on housing – as there is a significant global shortage. Housing offers big volumes, repetition and enables standardization which all are required in mass production.
– “The unavailability of workforce is an urgent issue for the construction industry globally. Our technology offers a solution, as there’s no need for traditional construction site or traditional construction workers”, says Hedberg.
